Multicultural Center
The new Multicultural Center in Grainger Hall is an important addition to the Wisconsin School of Business. It encompasses two spaces within the School to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
It came into existence through a student-led initiative designed to promote cultural change within an inclusive and supportive space. The center’s mission is to support students from historically underrepresented backgrounds, particularly students of color, and provide them with opportunities for connection, collaboration, and belonging.

The mark and hallway graphics both pick up on this inclusiveness, collaboration, and exploration. The mark stays modern while incorporating the different shapes and elements together through use of color. The hallway graphics are more free-flowing and organic. The use of shapes, colors, and type treatments work together to visually make a statement about the Center and its mission. In a rotating display staff, faculty, students, and alumni will periodically be featured with a short statement about themselves and how their experiences at WSB shaped them.
